ADLER’S JEWELERS COMPANY POLICIES
DIAMOND UPGRADES
Any single diamond product may be traded in at anytime for a full amount
towards an upgrade of approximately 50% greater than original purchase price.
This applies to center diamonds of engagement rings, diamond stud earrings, and
diamond stud pendants. Any certificate associated with diamond will be required
as well for full trade in. The mountings may also be traded in but price
will be determined by market conditions.
COLORED GEMSTONES
Unless otherwise stated, any colored gems have probably been subjected to a
stable and possibly undetectable color enhancement process. Many varieties of
colored are heat treated, dyed, and / or irradiated. Emeralds are assumed to be
treated with a non-permanent substance such as oil or resin to enhance overall
appearance unless otherwise stated. All pearls are assumed to be cultured and
processed unless otherwise stated. Prevailing market values are based on these
processes, which are universally practiced and accepted by the gem and jewelry
trade.
GUARANTEE POLICY
Merchandise is guaranteed for ninety days on manufacturer’s defects only, not
customer neglect or abuse.
Adler’s strongly suggests insuring your jewelry as
that is your best guarantee against theft, loss, or any potential damage.
CUSTOM ORDERS POLICY
Any custom wax or cad / cam work must be paid for upfront. Upon approval of
wax or cad work a deposit of 30% of approximate total price of completed
piece.
NO REFUNDS, CREDITS OR EXCHANGES ON CUSTOM ORDERS.
LAYAWAY POLICY
Merchandise may be placed in layaway with a minimum of 20% down and five
equal payments to follow. Merchandise must be paid for and picked up within five
months of initial transaction or Christmas Eve whichever comes first. If monthly
payments are not made or any merchandise not picked up within layaway period,
the merchandise will be returned to stock and all deposits forfeited.
EXCHANGE POLICY
All sales are final unless otherwise stipulated by Adler’s Jewelers. if the
purchaser of an item so desires, a house credit will be pleasantly issued within
thirty days of the original sales transaction if the item has not been used,
altered, or worn and is in the same condition as when sold.
A house credit must be used within one year of date issued.
The recipient of a gift purchased from Adler’s Jewelers may exchange the gift
within thirty days of original date of transaction if the item has not been used
or worn and is in original condition as when sold, for a house credit.
**THERE ARE NO EXCHANGES, CASH REFUNDS, OR CREDITS ISSUED ON SPECIAL
ORDERS OR CUSTOM MADE ITEMS.
The original sales receipt must accompany all return transactions made by any
persons, including recipient of gift.
GIFT CARDS AND/OR CERTIFICATES
Gift cards or certificates must be used within one year of issue date;
regardless if it was purchased or donated.
